PRACE Project Access – 3rd Call for Proposals for Tier-0 and Synchronized Pilot Call for Tier-1

Three Tier-0 machines were available
- IBM Blue Gene/P “JUGENE” (GCS@Jülich, Germany)
- Bull BULL Bullx cluster “CURIE” (GENCI@CEA, France)
- Cray XE6 “HERMIT” (GCS@HLRS, Germany)
A total of 53 applications requesting 1.687 million compute core hours were received. PRACE granted 721 million compute hours on Tier-0 systems to 24 European research projects. For the Press Release go here

The Tier-1 HPC systems were available from: Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands and UK.
35 projects, selected from 54 proposals, shared 91 million processor core hours awarded by this DECI (Distributed European Computing Initiative) call. For the Press Release, go here
