How to Reach the PRACE Office

From the airport

  1. There is a train connection between the airport and Brussels Luxembourg station.
  2. The “airport shuttle” bus 12. The bus station is located on airport level -1, below the arrivals terminal and can be easily reached by escalator or lift. The airport line runs from 5:40 am to 8:00 pm up to 3x per hour and takes between 30-40 minutes. Take the bus to the last stop  “Luxembourg Station”.
  3. From “Luxembourg Station”: Walk approx. 10 minutes following the “Rue d’Idalie” in the direction of “Rue du Trône”. 98 “Rue du Trone” is as the intersection of  “Rue d’Idalie” and  “Rue du Trône” on the right. The bus ticket can be purchased on the bus for 6 EUR and at a ticket machine for 4 EUR. Of course there are also plenty of taxis available in front of the airport.

From Brussels “Gare du Midi” (Brussels South Train station)

Take metro line 2 in the direction of “Simonis (Elisabeth)” and get off at “Trône/Troon” (5th stop). The “Rue du Trône“ starts directly at the metro station at the Exit marked “Rue de Luxembourg“; 2nd street on the left-hand side. (map of the local public transport here) From there, walk about 5 minutes until you see No. 98 on your left.   View Larger Map
