• DECI (Tier-1) Access

  • DECI (Distributed European Computing Initiative) is an Europeansingle-project HPC access scheme which is now supported by PRACE-2IP. Previously, DECI which stood for DEISA Extreme Computing Initiative, was conceived of and supported by the DEISA projects which issued six DECI calls between 2004 and 2009.

Please follow this link in order to access the DEISA DECI calls.

Under the PRACE projects, DECI has been integrated into the PRACEecosystem of HPC facilities and services. In order to provide seamless access to users, PRACE took over the organisation, operation and dissemination of DECI scientific results. In this section you will find information related to DECI calls and awarded projects supported by PRACE Second Implementation Phase project.

  • Call for Proposals for DECI-14 (Tier-1) (DECI (Tier-1) Access)

The DECI-14 call is managed by the PRACE Optional Programme with support from PRACE aisbl. This call is issued jointly with EUDAT. Together, they offer the opportunity to make awards of compute and data resources to projects that also have needs for storage capacity and associated data services. Applicants may apply for both the DECI and EUDAT calls at the same time or may apply to just the DECI call.
