DI4R 2017 conference: Connecting the building blocks for Open Science

The second edition of the Digital Infrastructures for Research (DI4R) conference will be held on 30 November and 1 December 2017 in Brussels. Europe’s leading e-infrastructures, EGI, EUDAT, GÉANT, OpenAIRE, PRACE and RDA Europe, invite all researchers, developers and service providers for two days of brainstorming and discussions at DI4R under the theme “Connecting the building blocks for Open Science”. For the first time PRACE participates in the Organisation and Programme Committees of this innovative conference.

DI4R 2017 will display the policies, processes, best practices, data and services that – leveraging today’s national, regional, European and international initiatives–– are the building blocks of the European Open Science Cloud and European Data Infrastructure.

The conference will demonstrate how open science, higher education, and innovators can benefit from these building blocks, and will contribute to advance integration and cooperation between initiatives.

The event’s programme will be available at the beginning of September. Registration and a call for participation for lightning talks, posters and demonstrations will open at the same time. All participants to the DI4R are invited to a welcome cocktail in the evening of 29 November at SQUARE in Brussels, organised by the EOSC pilot project as part of their event.

Please follow the event’s website and Twitter feed for more news and updates.
