PRACEdays16 was held from Tuesday 10 to Thursday 12 May 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic. More than 220 participants joined the plenary and parallel sessions for keynote presentations and discussions about and between science, industry and HPC.

PRACEdays16 is organised by PRACE aisbl and IT4Innovations with funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme (2014-2020) under grant agreement 653838.
The entire week including the EXDCI workshop, the Eurolab4HPC workshop, PRACEdays16, and the ETP4HPC Workshop forms the first edition of the European HPC Summit Week.
Dr Zoe Cournia, a Computational Chemist, Investigator – Assistant Professor at the Biomedical Research Foundation, Academy of Athens (BRFAA), Greece has been selected as the recipient of the 1st PRACE Ada Lovelace Award for HPC.

At PRACEdays16 – the PRACE Scientific and Industrial Conference 2016, which will be held from 10 to 12 May in Prague, Czech Republic, under the motto HPC for Innovation: when Science meets Industry – PRACE will present for the first time the PRACE Ada Lovelace Award for HPC to a woman who is making an outstanding contribution to and impact on HPC in Europe, at a global level.
PRACEdays16 will be held from Tuesday 10 to Thursday 12 May 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic. Registration is open from 15 February until 29 April and a special hotel rate at the conference venue (Orea Pyramida Hotel) is available until 10 March. The conference fee is € 60 per participant.
